My name is Ashlie Lawhead. I graduated from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL with a bachelor's degree in music business.  Then, I picked up and moved to Nashville, TN, as most my age do to make it big in the industry. Once in Nashville, I interned for a few places on music row which taught me so much about the music industry. I saw many people pay a lot of money for their music to be heard and promoted. I wished there was a way for me to offer the same services at a more cost efficient level, so I spent a couple years planning and started my own promotion company with my partner Amber Pettus. I want to offer aspiring artists a chance to get advice and counsel about their musical talent, without getting taken advantage of. That's why I spend money where it is needed on your press kits and development, not a fancy office on music row. I have a small home office, but the work I do for you will be mostly going from record label, to management company, to booking agency, so I don't see the obligation of spending extra money on a fancy office which will increase the cost for you. I hate to see artists who spend their whole life savings on something that will never be a guarantee, but I do believe in dreams and talent. I completely support someone who wants a chance, and that's what I do. That's who I am!
